Siegfried Blumenthal. Life In and Outside Reality

Siegfried Blumenthal. Life In and Outside Reality

The monograph study entitled Siegfried Blumenthal. Life In and Outside Reality is focused on the fate of the collector Siegfried Blumenthal of Brno. The story of Blumenthal´s life is followed by a provenance study and the catalogue of the fragments of the original collection of silver objects today in the care of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Brno. Provenance research of the Blumenthal collection resulted not only in the present publication but, more importantly, led to a successful restitution of the several pieces from the original collection to the descendants of the original owner.

Foreword by Tomáš Kraus
