On Wednesday afternoon, the program of the 8th International Conference Transferred to Reich Ownership was successfully concluded. Many thanks go to the speakers for their inspiring contributions and to the participants for the intriguing debate, which opened up further possibilities of cooperation in the field of identification, documentation and restitution of cultural property looted to the victims of the Second World War.
Many thanks also go to the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic for their support and to The Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague for the excellent cooperation.
The conference took place under the auspices of the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Markéta Pekarová Adamová; Minister of Culture Martin Baxa; Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavský and Czech Commission for UNESCO.
We were delighted that Minister of Culture Martin Baxa, Ambassador of Israel to the Czech Republic Anna Azari and Special Envoy for Holocaust Issues, Interfaith Dialogue and Freedom of Religion or Belief Robert Řehák personally attended the conference opening.
